    • social responsibility

  • LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a designation created by The U.S. Green Building Council. This Council is a nonprofit organization committed to expanding sustainable building practices.
  • LEED certification verifies that a building project is “environmentally responsible, profitable and a healthy place to live and work.” For more information on LEED visit:
  • A carbon footprint is a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment, and, in particular, on climate change. The term carbon footprint relates to the amount of greenhouse gases produced in our day-to-day lives through the burning of fossil fuels (as needed for electricity, heating and transportation etc.). Technically, the carbon footprint is a measurement of all greenhouse gases we individually produce and has units of ton of carbon dioxide equivalent.
